High Pressure Homogenizing Systems and Homogenizers

The Benchtop Sonolator System

This Benchtop Sonolator system illustrates the basic design of our systems.  The unit consists of:

  • Sonolator high pressure homogenizer

  • PD Pump (various styles available)

  • Motor, gearbox

  • Inverter drive

  • Full PLC automation

This Benchtop unit also includes a Premix Station with agitator, feed pump and jacketed vessel with heating unit to better emulate typical full scale plant setup.  This system is directly scalable and is used for:

      - Trial test runs

      - Formula validation

      - Reformulation testing

The Pilot Sonolator System

Wheel this Pilot Sonolator system right into your pilot plant or R&D facility and begin experiencing the amazing qualities of this unique ultrasonic, high pressure homogenizing unit.

  • Pressures to 5000 psi

  • Flows from 0.25 to 2 gpm

Use this system to deagglomerate solids in a liquid medium or emulsify fluids.  A rough premix can be formed and transferred to our unit and processed instantly!

Pilot Sonolator units like this one contain plant level instrumentation and automation by Allen Bradley, Endress & Hauser, Rosemount, Hitachi, Siemens and more.

Like all Sonolator homogenizer systems, the pilot scale units can be custom fabricated to meet your specifications!

Production Sonolator System

Higher capacity Sonolator Systems are rated to 100 gpm maximum flow rates at pressures from 250 to 2000 and 5000 psi.  High pressure, rotary gear, progressing cavity and other style pumps are commonly used.

This unit can be installed beneath your premix vessel and deliver many process efficiencies and benefits right away including 1) elimination of lengthy batch mixing cycles, (2) elimination of material transfer times as material is processed en route to hold tank, (3) improved emulsion/dispersion quality as Sonolator delivers superior particle size reduction, (4) reduction in spare parts cost and maintenance, (5) improvement in predictability and repeatability as the Sonolator delivers the same same finished product in the same time, every time!
