Sonic's TechBlend in line blending systems are customized to meet your mixing and blending needs. TechBlend in line blending systems are designed to provide a continuous, multiple-stream process solution to help save on process costs, reduce cycle times and make the best use of available tank space!

The basic TechBlend
in line blending system consists of PD pumps (chosen to match ingredient properties),
mass and/or volume flow meters w/ 0.1% accuracy, instrumentation by E&H,
MicroMotion, etc., variable frequency drives, heat exchangers and steam
control valves, pneumatic valves and complete PLC automation by Allen
Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi and more.
In-tank blending where ingredients are added manually is not nearly as accurate and is subject to human error. As this screen shot illustrates, a recipe is selected and the system runs the phases at proper ratio on demand to keep the storage tank full.
Level sensors on all
tanks allow the PLC automated system to monitor upstream and downstream
events. In this manner there is little to no operator supervision
needed; you only need to keep source tanks/totes full and connected and TechBlend does the rest.
Minor ingredient pumps are included to meter a wide range of liquids at
as low as 0.1% of the mix.
