Precision fabrication is the foundation of every high-performance inline blending system. At Sonic Corp, the process begins with something simple—but essential—the band saw.
In our manufacturing facility, 304 and 316 stainless steel square tubing is precision-cut in 2″, 3″, and 4″ sizes to form the structural framework of our custom process skids. This is where every Inline Blending and Homogenizing system physically takes shape.
Stainless Steel Skid Framework Built for Performance
Sonic utilizes square stainless tubing rather than solid plate construction. This design approach offers several advantages:
- Reduced surface area for improved cleanability
- Less debris accumulation in production environments
- Strong structural integrity with optimized weight
- Cleaner integration into customer factory layouts
Using high-grade 304 and 316 stainless steel ensures corrosion resistance, durability, and long-term performance in demanding liquid processing applications.
Precision Welding & Finishing
After cutting, each tube is polished and moved to our welding stations, where skilled technicians use TIG and orbital welding equipment to produce tight, sanitary, and visually clean welds.
This attention to fabrication detail ensures:
- Structural consistency
- Sanitary weld integrity
- Professional finish quality
- Reliable system longevity
Every weld supports the mechanical stability and sanitation requirements expected in food, beverage, dairy, chemical, and other industrial processing environments.
Fabrication Flexibility for Custom Process Skids
Because Sonic systems are highly customized, fabrication flexibility is critical. Customers often require unique layouts to accommodate space constraints, integration points, and specialized production requirements.
Our in-house fabrication capabilities—band saw cutting, TIG welding, orbital welding, and polishing—allow us to construct skid layouts that integrate seamlessly into broader factory operations.
The result is a fully engineered inline blending or homogenizing system built on a structurally sound, precision-fabricated stainless steel platform.
Great systems don’t just start with great design—they start with great fabrication.
